We are so excited to post these creations we have changed our Belle Flaneur masthead (that sits at the ‘head’ of our site) from Belle Flaneur Pink to Awareness Blue! We are submerged in the deep abyss and on a mission to protect it!
Inside the Robby Ingham store, at the heart and head of this Belle Flaneur concept is Toni Daniel’s beautiful sculptural piece Aqua Siren. Toni dreamt deeper into the blue and crafted this calling for ocean awareness- calling us, just as mermaids are believed to call, sing & lure sailors.
Aqua Siren is featured on a Mei & Picchi Pucchi mannequin and styled in Givenchy. Our siren has passed through Joan Banda’s Illuminated Tide white wave installation. The passing of the Illuminated Tide threshold represents a deeper connection to Le Grande Bleu. Aqua Siren is the transition piece in the installation, reflecting a new awareness and respect for the ocean and all the beauty that lies beneath the surface.
Toni’s design is elegantly alert, resembling a force of energy that has risen through the body and is erupting at the head to reveal an opening in the crown chakra – a perfect visual for a cool blue pressure-less mind in awakening.
Elle Hopton didn’t miss a beat to create headpieces for this installation. Her ideas flourished into focus as she designed and sculpted her 10 metal head pieces & accessories as featured in our front row fashion window displays. Each piece is uniquely crafted with Elle’s eclectic aesthetic and cleverly reflect the exquisite detailing of aquatic creatures. Better described as metal jewellery pieces than headwear they are ‘the pearls in the oyster’ in this concept. Each piece is painted in an array of metallic tones and placed as the final accessory pieces on Mei & Picchi mannequins. Elle’s lace metal work completes the front row styling collection with designers Chloe, Givenchy, Helmut Lang, Stella McCartney and Alexander McQueen and Joshua Lunney’s mermaid tail sculptures.
Miss Mercedes’s fine tailoring assisted in the couture fastening aspects of these full metal beauties, while members of the Style Merchandise for Photography class at TAFE Sydney Institute also collaborated in their crafting, as photographed by TAFE VM student Monique Cutajar in the garden at Robby Ingham store Paddington.

Belle Flaneur is now fully submerged in the blue. The blue header just adds to our involvement in this movement. Great work on the new blue masthead Ant!
Now for these 2 talented belle flaneur team members who created & crafted magnificent head wear for RI access all areas, you both did an amazing job. They are stunning!!
I enjoyed styling with the Metal aquatic headwear, they added such an aspirational & interesting element to each outfit.
