Yoga Fashion Love
Yesterday we posted a bite for you to think about, mixing yoga & fashion. Today we have added a dash of love for a ‘YOFALO’ blend! & We’re forging forward with this developing shoot. A curious mix for some, however, the legendary Steven Miesel is known to regularly combine the movement of yoga & fashion into his intriguing shoots. From the first time Christy Turlington graced the pages of Vogue magazine in various yoga postures we were hooked on this visual. The movement of a yoga body styled in fashion cloth appealed to our quirky & earthy sensibilities. Yoga encourages a more balanced mind, body, heart & soul & as a result delivers healthy, happy bodies! Next shoot for Belle Flaneur, the connection to your mind, body, heart & soul. For further inspiration on this idea check out the exquisite work of Steven Miesel & others, let them move you. All those in favour of this next BF fashion photo mission say I! Engage your imagination, ‘comment’ interest in collaboration & we’ll start posturing!

SHOW US YOUR MOVES! I just adore this fashion concept, we must collaborate, style and shoot this amazing idea! For those who can move show us your positions and for those who can style bring out the killer outfits! This will be GOLD!
Breath in breath out…
Bust a move and freeze it.
Just in time for the mindy body and soul festival yes???
Ahhh. The Further fashion posturing STRIKE A POSE link takes me away from your inspiring BF page. Thought you may want to be aware.
I adore the juxtaposition of two concepts which are essentially at odds. Fashion concerning itself commercially with a self consciousness belonging to the consumerism involved with one’s external presentation and Yoga concerning itself with the opposite, emptiness and connectivity to the divinity residing within one’s internal world where consumerism simply does not matter. Once again Natalie Coulter inspires and instigates creative thought and discussion with her collections.
A definite I !!!!’ Count me in. So many angles and direction. Love it. The inpsiration shots are amazing. But I’m with miss Rockie road about the link…
Thanks Nicole for the mention. I believe the link has been altered now so we don’t leave this beautiful place of BF
I love this concept! i’m not much of a yoga person my self but I see the art and the beauty within this silent, motionless activity. An English artist called Marc Quinn, deals with the concept of the human form. An example of this can be seen in his works; “self’, ‘Buck and Allanah” and “Siren” – ‘self’ involves a cast of marc’s head filled with his own blood, “Buck & Allanah” consist of two humans one boy and one girl how ever there genitals are switched around. “Siren” is my most preferred it features supermodel Kate Moss fixed in a yoga posed, cast in solid gold!!!!
