Northern Beaches Council worked with Natalie Coulter to deliver visual merchandising workshops to 15 retailers in Manly to help them rejuvenate and revitalise their shop window display. Natalie delivered a customised program which included a series of online workshops and one-on-one consultations which included Natalie visiting each retailer to demonstrate low budget in-store transformations using recycled products. At the end of the program, retailers had an understanding how to increase customer foot traffic and ultimately how to increase sales through a solid visual merchandising strategy. Throughout the process, Natalie was very flexible and adaptable while using her local knowledge of the area. The brief changed a little along the way and Natalie was able to accommodate these changes always going over and above. The retailers provided great feedback about Natalie’s expertise, enthusiastic and passionate personality. If the opportunity arose, we would love to work with Natalie again in the future.

Thank you seems hardly adequate for the two signature events we had the recent pleasure of working with you and your tireless team to deliver. Both events were a great success and our clients and stakeholders are still expressing their surprise and delight at what they discovered as they wandered through the intriguing spaces during the evening.

Turning our boardrooms into a mysterious UV lit greenhouse laboratory was inspired, and to do it with found objects and recycled materials to fit our sustainable goals resulted in a unique event we were proud to share with our clients. To then watch you repurpose all these materials a second time for our land-themed event a week later gave us such an education.

We so appreciated the way you and your very hardworking team collaborated with our own staff, from our building manager, to our catering staff and with our stakeholders and clients. So many of us, clients included walked away from that event feeling educated and excited about what it is to think, live and work sustainably; we value enormously the way you demonstrated this and appropriately shared your knowledge in the lead up to the events and on the night, with anyone who sought to know more. Your network of contacts is vast and the quality of characters that played a part in the event was a highlight. Our guests wanted to spend time with them and they helped ignite many thought-provoking topics of conversation.

Thank you for connecting us with Sydney Tafe students and giving us the opportunity to work with this country’s future innovators. We have never before worked with students on an event, and to share these events with them, as they helped you prep as part of their studies, enabled us to be a part of their sustainable learning journey, a privilege indeed.

On top of all this you and your team were a joy to work with, I certainly hope there will be more collaborations in the future.

Natalie and her team are passionate and talented stylists. Their creative juices are constantly flowing and the approach they take to each project is with pure enthusiasm, energy and professionalism. Belle Flanuer’s signature look is unique as it mixes reused objects with high end pieces to create a juxtaposition rarely seen; this adds an element of differentiation and offers a signature style. True storytellers; I would recommend the talents of the Belle Flanuer team to anyone looking for stylists who are not scared to deliver beautifully styled areas, with a little edge.
Paris Dennett, Marketing Manager, Australian Gift & Home Association

We engaged the services of Belle Flaneur for the opening of our flagship store in October 2012 and a second store in April 2015. Natalie and her team literally worked magic, predominantly using
re-purposed materials, to create high impact window and in store merchandising solutions that continue to wow customers when they visit our boutiques.

Natalie carefully and patiently listened to our brief. She then tirelessly worked with her team to develop each creative concept which delivered a beautiful and unique store presence and ambience, far exceeding our expectations. Her wealth of knowledge and experience has been instrumental in growing our brand and has helped us achieve the status of a well recognised retail business both locally and amongst industry peers.

We continue to engage the services of Belle Flaneur for our exhibitor displays and look forward to our ongoing working relationship with the talents of Natalie & her Belle Flaneur team!

We’re very excited to work in collaboration with Belle Flaneur to create stunning installations made from valuable resources otherwise destined for landfill. Belle Flaneur’s installations are simply beathtaking. This little gem of a business is a shining example of fearless originality, adaptive design and reuse at it’s best! Their enthusiasm for their work is utterly infectious.

Belle Flaneur offer essential on the job training by involving Sydney TAFE students in their installations. It is a wonderful learning curve for all involved.
Kerry Little, Head Teacher Visual Merchandising Sydney TAFE

Belle Flaneur’s passion for their work is utterly infectious, perhaps the reason they stand out so vividly even in the brave new world of repurposing waste. When Natalie starts any imaginable project, you just know it will be done thoroughly, collaboratively and astoundingly well – and with a great deal of enjoyment among all involved. Working with her inspires me enormously.
